Deployed
to take over the NATO alert commitment (71 TFS started standing alerts
29 September) from 32 TFS at Soesterberg AB, whilst that unit converted
to F-15 Eagles. The first two 32 TFS F-15As (77-0074 & 77-0075)
arrived with this deployment on 13 September (18 December saw the final
32 TFS F-15s delivered). Deployment was manned by 71 TFS crews, 13
September - 27 October, then 94 TFS. 6 unidentified
F-15As departed 22 November.
[1] These two arrived
6 September. [2] Departed
20 December, aborted soon after and returned in company with
two others (serials not known).
All 3 finally departed 22 December. |
