RF-4C's remain unidentified. 10
RF-4Cs (8 plus 2 air spares) departed Lincoln on the 1 May, they
proceeded to Torrejon AB, Spain and after a crew rest, attempted
to carry on to Eskisehir, however only 6 got away, 2 went tech, and
did not complete the trip till 6 May. Departed to Torrejon AB and
stayed until 18 May when they departed back to Lincoln.

was the first overseas squadron-sized deployment of the F-111D and
the first to Boscombe Down. During the course of two weeks, 282 training
sorties were flown. EC-135K 55-3118 8 TDCS which arrived at Mildenhall
7 June was probably the Command Post

TFS was originally due to deploy 12 F-15s to Bremgarten AB as CORONET
BARRELL (7/7/80 - 30/7/80) but it remained unfunded and the actual
deployment never took place. 8 TDCS EC-135K 55-3118 escorted the
deployment to and from Europe, landing at Mildenhall on 2 October
and at Fairford on 4 November. The 58 TFS Flew a total of 1001 sorties
during deployment!

and relocated to Soesterberg on 6 November, finally departing
