| Since 1978, NATO Sub Group 2 (SG/2) has conducted a series of EW countermeasures trials. Within a three-year cycle, both an infrared (TRIAL EMBOW) and a radio frequency (TRIAL MACE) test are held. This is an ongoing exercise. The F-4D's flew sorties with various other NATO Fighters. They departed as Retro 11/12. | ||
